Abstract

In this study, the impact of exports, foreign debt, FDI (foreign direct investment), currency rates, and real interest rates on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves from 2001 to 2020 is to be determined and measured. Multiple linear regression is the methodology applied in this research. The study used Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method with the aid of a computer program called EViews 10. It used quantitative secondary data in time series for a period of 20 years, from 2001 to 2020, which gathered from paperwork provided by Bank Indonesia, BPS Indonesia, and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). This form of research is descriptive in nature. Foreign exchange reserves are the dependent variable in this study, while exports, foreign debt, FDI (foreign direct investment), exchange rates, and real interest rates are the independent factors.
