Abstract

The background of this research is based on the large number of students who become addicts to online games and social media, especially the students of Pamulang University level I. Today many students ignore the assignment of lecturers just to play online games. The reason is also very diverse such as to eliminate boredom, saturation, confusion, and brain refreshing. However, it cannot be denied that neglecting the duties of the lecturer will affect the decline in the student’s learning achievement. This is a quantitative study that takes the data from the results of the questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out by using 3 (three) stages, namely interview, questionnaire, observation. Based on the results of the study, there is a positive and significant effect simultaneously between Online Games (X1) and Social Media (X2) against Learning Achievement (Y) and the most dominant factor is online games with a percentage of 37.7%.
