This event also engages international partners, including the University of Chile (Chile) and UiTM Sarawak Branch (Malaysia), and is supported by ANSO (Alliance of International Science Organizations). This conference is driven by the urgent global need to accelerate the transition toward clean energy and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, in line with international commitments such as the Paris Agreement. As a developing country with abundant natural resources, Indonesia plays a strategic role in this global effort. Therefore, the conference provides an essential platform for academics, policymakers, industry players, and civil society to discuss innovative and sustainable energy solutions. The event focuses on four main thematic clusters: (1) Upstream–Downstream Innovation for Just Energy Transition, (2) Energy Transition and Regional Development, (3) Biodiversity Conservation in the Net-Zero Agenda, and (4) Mastery of Technology for Renewable Energy. These clusters address not only scientific and technological advancements but also the broader social, economic, and environmental implications at both national and international levels. Through this conference, it is expected to foster cross-sectoral synergy in advancing sustainable development, encouraging green investment, and strengthening Indonesia’s role in the global discourse on energy and the environment.
