- Abstract
The formation of ancient villages results from the coupling of natural and human factors. Under China’s rural revitalization strategy, protecting ancient villages is practically significant. Using Dongjing Village in Guanyang County as a case study, this research proposes a “cellular-type” village concept. Through field investigations on resources, architecture, culture, and settlement environment, the study analyzes preservation issues and offers recommendations for conservation and planning.
