Abstract

In this paper, a propeller model which is common used in small multirotor aerial vehicles is created in CATIA software. To analysis the aerodynamic performance of the propeller in wind field, numerical simulation method in fluent software is used. Through the building of computational domain, meshing of the propeller and computational field and condition settings, the data of aerodynamic forces is collected. Then we analysis the relationship between propeller’s forces, wind field and propeller’s rotation speed. Some conclusions about the aerodynamic performance are drawn from the analysis results.
