Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyse the urgency of learning English online based on multiple intelligences with a constructivist approach. The form of this research is descriptive qualitative using case studies. Sources of data consist of informants, places (events), and documents. Techniques or data collection methods used in this study were (1) Interview, (2) Direct observation, (3) Document study. The data analysis technique uses interactive analysis techniques which include three components, namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions or verification. The results showed that 1) the factors that influence the development of student intelligence have been identified, namely internal factors and external factors; 2) English online learning based on multiple intelligences with a constructivism approach needs to be applied in order to support the achievement of educational goals; and 3) have identified as many as 5 learning models that are suitable to be integrated with multiple intelligences through the constructivism approach. In conclusion, English online learning based on multiple intelligences with a constructivist approach is important to be applied to students. So, it is necessary to develop a decision support system application to determine a multiple intelligence-based learning model that can make it easier for lecturers to carry out an effective learning process. and 3) have identified as many as 5 learning models that are suitable to be integrated with multiple intelligences through the constructivism approach.
