Abstract

In the modern business era people are paying more attention towards the importance of sustainable practices. Most of the business organizations are ready to adopt and inspire the advantages of sustainable business practices. Modern organizational structure taught the significance of training employees in order to sustain the working environment (Khan et al., 2022). It has been implemented in different fields such as finance, marketing, and human resource management practices also. Adopting sustainable practices in HRM can yield many benefits. It can influence the productivity of workforce for enhancing competitive advantage. More people are becoming aware of how to properly implement such practices for improving competitive business environment. Due to as much importance of this area the present study’s goals are to 1) identify current knowledge in this research topic 2) find out most relevant countries and institutions researching on this area 3) find out the most relevant authors, average citations per year, and most relevant sources 4) find out the important author keywords to understand the research trend in this research filed also. The work is carried out on a survey of literature which is further followed by a bibliometric analysis that provides more details using R studio and VOS viewer. For analysis purpose 392 documents were found from Scopus database using default search option TITLE/ABS/KEY from the period 2001 to 2024. The study uses literature in the form of articles published in the English language. This study will contribute to the theoretical understanding and recent developments in this field.
