Abstract

Based on the qualitative comparative analysis (qca) method, this paper studies the conditional configuration of Chinese energy companies to achieve high performance and avoid low performance from the aspects of independent R&D investment, human capital, enterprise scale and regional institutional environment. The findings can provide reference for Chinese energy companies and have practical significance.
