The article analyzes the relevance of using the dual learning system in the pedagogical activity of educational organizations for forming the necessary personal characteristics of students as future specialists. The main characteristics of the dual learning system are presented; features of its use in the activities of educational organizations are disclosed; its application is substantiated on the basis of empirical verification of its results of a sample of university students. The materials of the article are of practical value for persons, involved in the training of specialists in the system of higher and secondary professional education.
