- Abstract
Some pairs of indicators which in the author’s opinion may describe the effect of the regional social and economic system upon the human resource quality, and vice versa, were suggested in this article. The presumptions concerning the features of the correlation within each pair were made. Based on the statistical information for Voronezh region these presumptions were tested, some of them were proved and the others rejected. The conclusion is drawn that there exists some certain mutual effect between the statistically detected indicators of the quantity and quality of the human resources and economic results of the region, but it is not so obvious and direct as has been initially expected.
