Abstract

The commitment of Universitas Negeri Semarang to become a University with an international reputation is realized through various breakthrough programs. These programs can run well under a good educational leadership. However, realizing various programs especially in an international level have many challenges both from internal and external factors which can possibly cause stresses and mental pressure on academic staff in universities. Therefore, this study is aimed at investigating the contribution of educational leadership and occupational incentive to academic staff motivation and their impacts on occupational resilience. This study uses path analysis to figure out the contribution of each independent variable to the dependent variable. Questionnaire and observation are employed to collect the data. Linear regression is used to analyze the contribution of each independent variable to the dependent variable. The results showed that there is a very strong relationship between educational leadership (X1) and the resilience of the academic staffs. It also showed a strong correlation between occupational incentives (X2) to the resilience of the academic staffs. The contribution of the educational leadership, occupational incentives, motivation of the academic staffs to resilience of the academic staffs = 89.8%
