Abstract

This article provides a reference for the structural design of electromagnetic bullet. Electromagnetic gun bullet is slow and non-lethal,this study creates a bullet model based on the rigid body mechanics and the simplified aerodynamics, the motion simulation is realized by calculating the force and moment of the bullet in the aerodynamic model, and using C language with OpenGL graphics library prepared simulation program, the flight process of the bullet can be observed by 3D animation. To improve the simulation accuracy, the simulation program can be corrected by using the test data, eventually may replace the ballistic test to a certain extent.
