This symposium was organized by the Institute for Research and Community Service, Muhammadiyah University Semarang (UNIMUS). The issue discussed in this symposium is cardiopulmonary disease after the COVID-19 outbreak. After rigorous presentation and review, twenty-five papers were selected and published in WSoS-indexed conference proceedings. The papers in this proceeding focus on the topics of nursing education, nursing management, nursing fundamentals, community nursing, mental health nursing, gerontology nursing, nursing informatics, family nursing, emergency & critical nursing, advanced practice nursing, holistic nursing, medical-surgical, pediatric nursing, maternity nursing, and palliative care in nursing. This paper is very useful for both academics and practitioners in the medical field in developing their knowledge. Thank you to all parties who have helped carry out the symposium and publish these proceedings. We also express our deepest thanks to all symposium participants and presenters, especially the keynote speakers.
