Abstract

This paper constructs a new function of airport taxi-scheduling, and the improved IPSO and CPSO algorithms were introduced to solve these problems. Simulation results showed that the new scheme reduced total time by 25.3 minutes in peak hour, with average 1.4 minutes taxi time reduced per aircraft compared to FCFS strategy. The CPSO algorithm has advantages over the other two algorithms for its acceptable computer time and precise outcomes, which can be used in solving such NP complexity problems.
