Abstract

The Production-oriented approach emphasizes learning with the effective output by optimizing its input. Based on POA, this paper intends to explore whether the implementation of production-oriented approach has a better effect on students' ESP production. Besides, it also tries to find out the ways and aspects of designing and implementation in ESP teaching, which includes basic procedures of driving, optimizing and evaluating of information input. Through quantitative and qualitative methods, this paper also studies how POA stimulate students' learning desire in ESP. In a word, this paper aims to promote the quality of ESP teaching as well as foster students' comprehensive ability production with the application of POA in ESP.
