Abstract

As the core support for the development of social economy and national economy, energy economy has an inseparable linkage with both. The scientific optimization of energy structure is even a key driving force for accelerating high-quality economic development. Against the backdrop where energy efficiency has become a core indicator for measuring the development level of a country’s social productivity, synchronously promoting the quality improvement of energy economy and the optimization of energy structure holds an irreplaceable strategic significance for enhancing the resilience of economic development and realizing sustainable development. Currently, under the guidance of China’s “dual carbon” goals, it is urgent to strengthen the development and utilization of new energy and renewable energy. While striving to advance the clean transition of the power system, equal attention should be paid to the efficient development and utilization of oil and gas resources. This paper first defines the core connotation of energy economy and analyzes its strategic value, then systematically sorts out the current development status and evolution trends of energy structure, and finally studies the optimization strategies of energy structure, aiming to provide references for relevant personnel.
