Abstract

The rapid growth of the digital industry has significantly contributed to Indonesia’s economic value, with a reported increase of IDR 392 trillion by 2022. This study investigates the role of digital culture, digital talent, and digital platforms in enhancing digital innovation to achieve global strategies, focusing on a comparative analysis of creative economy MSMEs (Ekraf) in Pangkalpinang and Surakarta. The research explores how these factors effect digital innovation and the adoption of global strategies. A survey methodology was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews and questionnaires with 200 respondents from the creative MSMEs in both cities. Data was analyzed using SmartPLS software to evaluate the relationships between variables. The findings reveal that digital culture, talent, and platforms positively impact digital innovation, supporting global strategy implementation. These results underline the importance of digital competencies in enabling MSMEs to thrive in a globalized market. This research contributes to developing strategies that foster digital innovation and competitiveness. The final takeaway emphasizes that effective digital adoption is crucial for creative MSMEs aiming to compete globally.
