The shape grammar technique is a method of analyzing forms to obtain basic formulations that can be developed as a "form grammar". The basic formula of the composition will be the base for developing visual alternative of The Druju Batik experimentally with the help of CAD (computer aided design) based on software. The results showed that the re-composition of motifs using shape grammar technique can produce various designs of The Druju Batik motifs that keeps its original alignment without having to repeat the same old form
