- Abstract
Product configuration is an essential link of mass customization production which is developing under marketoriented economy. The realization process of product configuration has to rely heavily on the scale of database. The product configuration database proposed in this paper includes four sections: enterprise production database, customer knowledge database, configuration process constraints database and other database. In addition, the data types and realization process of the four databases are presented in order to establish product configuration database.
