- Abstract
Compared with other European countries, the United States has a relatively fledgling history. However, more than two hundred years of history has been enough to see a country become independent and develop into the number one country in the world. The American War of Independence lasted eight years from the beginning to the end of British colonization. On the face of it, slavery in the South clashed with free employment in the North. But it is important to analyze why Americans became independent. This article will explore the combined causes of the American Revolution from an economic, political, and cultural perspective.
