- Abstract
The article is dedicated to the issue of hygienic monitoring of radiofrequency (RF) electromagnetic radiation (EMR) and its impact on biological objects. The authors discuss the relevance of the topic considering the widespread use of mobile communications, Wi-Fi, and other wireless technologies, which create a constant electromagnetic background. It is emphasized that the World Health Organization (WHO) has classified RF EMR as a potential carcinogen, which calls for stricter regulatory measures. The article also highlights the importance of a comprehensive approach to RF EMR hygienic monitoring to reduce health risks for the population. The study’s results can be used for the development of preventive measures and regulatory documents in the field of electromagnetic safety.
