- Abstract
The turn-back interval is a key indicator that affects the operational performance of urban rail transit. In actual operation projects, most of them are optimized and adjusted for the train running interval, and less attention is paid to the analysis of the turn-back process and the optimization of the turn-back interval. This paper analyzes the alternate turnaround process in front of an actual turnaround platform in Tianjin, and calculates the turnaround process based on the whole platform of traction calculation simulation of Southwest Jiaotong University. At the same time, an optimization model of the turn-back interval based on the temporary speed limit setting in front of the station is proposed, and the model is solved by using the genetic algorithm, which reduces the turn-back time by 7.5% at the cost of increasing the operating time of the whole line by 0.4%. The results show that this scheme can effectively improve the reentry capability of the alternate reentry in front of the station.
