Abstract

This study outlines the advantages of parent engagement in student learning in the area of educational leadership. It discusses the basic areas of parental engagement and the types of partnerships between students and parents. It also examines the recent issue that raise a great deal in relation to parental contribution to school and identifies some factors that inhibit it in relation to educational leadership.
