The Journal of Epidemiology and Global Health (JEGH) has been accepted for inclusion in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), one of the Web of Science core collections from Clarivate Analytics. The journal is currently only included in Clarivate's Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) but has now been promoted to SCIE based on its citation performance. As a result, JEGH will be receiving its first impact factor in June of this year. In addition to this, the journal is already indexed in Scopus (with a 2018 CiteScore of 1.84), Medline and PubMed, while an application to PMC (PubMed Central) will be submitted shortly. Atlantis Press would like to congratulate all the Editors on this success which is expected to further drive submission rates to JEGH as well as increase the overall quality of these submissions.

As of today, the new online submission system for the Journal of Epidemiology and Global Health (JEGH) is live and open for submissions. JEGH was acquired by Atlantis Press from the Saudi Ministry of Health at the end of November 2018 and transferred from Elsevier who had published the journal since its launch. The journal aims to impact global epidemiology and international health with articles focused on innovative scholarship and strategies to advance global health policy. During a short interim period it was only possible to submit articles to JEGH via email, but from this moment onwards new submissions can only proceed through the Editorial Manager online submission and peer review system.
