Abstract

The exhaust gas of marine diesel engine loses a lot of energy when the exhaust discharged directly. Making good use of diesel engine exhaust gas to generate electricity is helpful to improve the thermal efficiency. Supercritical carbon dioxide cycle is not only with high cycle efficiency, but its devices have advantages of compact structure, can be realized easily as well. The waste gas can be used as the heat source of supercritical carbon dioxide cycle for power generation, which is conducive to save fuel and reduce the costs. So it is necessary to optimize the supercritical CO2 circulation system based on the characteristics of the Marine diesel engine, to achieve the purpose of practical shipment.
