Website: https://www.icaemss.org/ The 2026 3rd International Conference on Applied Economics, Management Science and Social Development (AEMSS 2026) was successfully held from March 13 to 15, 2026, in Kunming, China. Bringing together over 180 scholars, researchers, and practitioners, the conference provided a vibrant platform for academic exchange and interdisciplinary dialogue. From 178 submissions, 74 papers were accepted, reflecting the rigorous review process and high standards of scholarship upheld by the organizing committee. AEMSS 2026 featured four distinguished keynote speeches that offered insights into the intersections of technology, economics, management, and social development. Prof. Huaping Sun (Shandong University of Finance and Economics) examined how artificial intelligence drives corporate green transformation, linking technological innovation with organizational strategy. Prof. Junfeng Liao (South China University of Technology) analyzed the spatio-temporal characteristics and influencing factors of Internet word-of-mouth (IWOM) in dance drama, highlighting mechanisms of online social influence. Prof. Shigui Tao (Nanjing Normal University) explored the "Impossible Trinity" of USD and proposed new pathways for the internationalization of the Chinese Yuan, providing a macroeconomic perspective on currency strategy. Prof. Runhui Lin (Nankai University) addressed the role of green governance capabilities in ensuring sustainable development for multinational enterprises, emphasizing the integration of corporate management and environmental responsibility. Complementing these keynotes, a series of oral presentations showcased innovative research across a diverse array of topics, further enriching scholarly discussions and fostering cross-disciplinary engagement. Conference discussions spanned contemporary issues in applied economics, management science, and social development. Topics included economic growth, technological and industrial innovation, digital and regional economies, low-carbon and green economy strategies, financial development and FinTech, data-driven economic management, and the interactions between economy, trade, and governance. Management-focused discussions addressed strategic and business management, human resources and cultural innovation management, smart city governance, and decision-making models in the context of big data and Internet technologies. Social development research encompassed sustainable societal progress, social governance innovation, ecological civilization, urban mobility and environmental sustainability, media and communication, and the theoretical study of social change in a complex global environment.
