We are very pleased to introduce the proceedings of the 2016 International Conference on Advanced Electronic Science and Technology (AEST 2016) to be held on August 19-21, 2016 in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. With the fast developing of information age, researchers in different fields have begun to make studies on some new ideas and methods related to the advanced electronic science and technology. AEST 2016 is an international forum, which can provide a fantastic platform for researchers, scholars as well as experts to showcase their research results in the fields of Advanced Electronic Science and Technology. The leading researchers, scholars and experts of the fields were brought together to attend the international conference. We have witnessed that the prospective authors who are interested in the fields submitted their up-to-date and original research papers to AEST 2016 Organizing Committee in order to share their valuable experience with the leading researchers, scholars as well as experts of the fields around the world.
AEST 2016 has called for papers in the research areas of electrical engineering and automation, electromagnetism, electronic circuits and systems, electrical power and other related technology and applications. The aim of the conference is for the scientists, scholars, engineers and students from the Universities all around the world and the industry to talk to each other from these areas, and hence to foster research relations between the Universities and the industry. As a result, 306 manuscripts were submitted from the professionals around the world. Finally, 140 papers were accepted for publication in the proceedings and their authors have been invited to present their papers on the conference. We invited five keynote speakers to deliver their recent research progress, who are internationally recognised leading experts in their own research areas. The proceedings are published by Atlantis Press (www.atlantis-press.com), and submitted to the EI and CPCI indexes. Taking this opportunity, we would like to thank all the authors and reviewers for their endeavours that make the paper reviewing and publication efficiently available.
We would like to record our thanks to our fellow members of the Technical Programme Committee and the Organizing Committee for their work in securing a substantial input of papers and hold this successful conference in the lovely place. The continuing success of this conference series means that planning can now proceed with confidence for the next event to be held in 2017.
