- Abstract
Mortality and morbidity on pregnant, giving birth, and postpartum women is the biggest problem in developing country. The high of maternal mortality rate is related to many factors, one of them is severe preeclampsia. One of the healing methods is by listening to Al-Qur’an recitation (murotal). The purpose of this research was to determine the effects of listening to murottal on the decrease of blood pressure of postpartum women with severe preeclampsia. This research was a literature review that explored information related to the effects of murottal therapy on the decrease of blood pressure of postpartum women with severe preeclampsia. The sources to do the literature review included a systematic search study of computerized databases from Google Scholar totalling 6 national journals and 1 international journal for the period 2009-2019. The instrument used in this research was questionnaire and the type of the research was quantitative research. the result showed that there was an effect of listening to murottal on the decrease of blood pressure of women with preeclampsia.
