Abstract

This study investigates the key determinants influencing individuals’ propensity to recommend e-scooter rental services in Bangkok, addressing a critical gap in understanding how safety awareness shapes word-of-mouth promotion. A structured questionnaire survey was conducted at Chulalongkorn University, where data was collected from 234 participants to assess the relative importance of various factors, with a particular emphasis on safety awareness. Factor analysis was used to categorize safety awareness into four key dimensions, where logistic regression analysis identified the factors that significantly predict individuals’ likelihood of recommending e-scooter rental services. The findings reveal that all aspects of safety awareness play a crucial role in shaping users’ perceptions of safety, convenience, and overall riding experience, ultimately influencing their willingness to recommend the service.
