It is our pleasure to introduce these proceedings of Arte-Polis8 International Conference. The Arte-Polis is a biannual place-making conference that had been going on since 2006. The conference is about sharing and learning from international and local experiences regarding current issues, best practices, and policy implications of creative connectivity on place-making. The theme was “Creative Society and the Making of Place: Redefining Space in the Digital Era.”
