Abstract

The paper studies the dynamics of grain production in the Sverdlovsk region and shows the role of the Middle Urals in the grain economy of the USSR and the RSFSR in the post-war years. The authors reveal data on the size of acreage and yield of grain crops, the social structure of grain production during the study period. The study of gross fees used in the agricultural statistics required various methods of processing the time series, including the method of average values and the method of direct counting.
