In the era of in-depth integration of globalization and digitalization, coupled with the accelerated evolution of industrial transformation, business administration and data science have emerged as core driving forces for innovative economic development and the resolution of practical challenges. From November 7 to 9, 2025, the 2025 5th International Conference on Business Administration and Data Science (BADS 2025) was held in Xi'an, China. As a critical academic exchange platform, this conference brought together experts, scholars, and industry practitioners to deliberate on cutting-edge issues in these disciplines, yielding academic achievements with both theoretical depth and practical value. The compilation of the outstanding contributions into this proceedings volume aims to preserve the academic insights and promote the continuous advancement of the fields relevant to the conference.

The conference agenda centered on academic exchange and intellectual discourse. It consisted of multiple sessions, including opening remarks, keynote speeches, invited speeches, and oral presentations. During the keynote speeches, the in-depth analyses of the construction of an indigenous case ecosystem (Prof. Jingqin Su), the construction of case libraries at the university and college levels (Assoc. Prof. Xu Jingyue), and the central bank green communication and carbon emission governance (Prof. Abdul Rauf) covered theoretical innovations, practical applications, and global topics, which provided valuable insights for participants.

The oral presentations addressed topics such as consumer behaviors, cross-border trade, green development, and corporate management, attracting extensive academic attention and stimulating in-depth discussions. Rooted in real-world practice, these research works adopted methodologies including data modeling, evolutionary game theory, case analysis, and more, which fully demonstrated the vitality and significance of interdisciplinary research between business administration and data science.

The works included in this proceedings represent the essence of the conference's academic value. Centered on real-world problems, these papers underscore the social responsibility of academic research. A diversity of research methods were employed to ensure academic rigor while reflecting responses to real-world issues.
