Abstract

A Nd:YVO4/LBO intracavity frequency doubling laser end-pumped by a diode-laser was reported, and the parameters of this laser were theoretically analyzed. By using a type Ⅱ noncritically phase-matched LBO crystal, the operation of a red light laser is realized. The output power of 1.16W at 0.671μm and optical to optical conversion efficiency of 10.5% were obtained at the pump power of 11.0W.
