Research on the Paths for Innovation and Fusion of Short Videos in the View of Media Ecology

In recent years, the overspread short videos have swept through people’s daily life and significantly extended their various senses, thus becoming a powerful and influential media gradually. Relying on the Internet technology, short videos provide a new expression for further integration of media, and establishes an even closer interactive symbiotic relationship with the media ecosystem. In addition, the communication and operation system of Media Ecology has developed short videos fusion to a multi-dimensional and wide-range level. Therefore, there are four main paths for the fusion and innovation of short videos in general. First of all, the innovation of communication ideas are applied to inspire the changes of users’ thinking modes and the increase of user demands; secondly, enough importance should be attached to the innovation of contexts, particularly people-oriented vertical field and community relations; thirdly, the quality of contents, the algorithms and the channels for publicity are improved based on the integration of intelligent media; finally, a pure and harmonious media ecosystem is constructed.
