Abstract

Lightweight is an inevitable trend for the future development of automobile bodies. There are several suitable for steel-aluminum lap connection technology, with the application of steel-aluminum hybrid body. Mechanical connection technology, welding technology and adhesive riveting composite connection technology are introduced in the paper. The idea of a hybrid material body structure based on the concept of "suitable materials for the right part" is a good balance between the requirements for lightweighting, processability, safety and cost as a whole. It represents the future developm
