Abstract

In the current context of changing teaching methods, the hybrid approach is increasingly becoming a flexible and innovative solution for learning French as a Foreign Language (FLE). This article proposes to rethink the design and implementation of interactive content in order to give life to a “living” French as a foreign language, where active participation and collaboration play a central role.

After defining the pedagogical and theoretical framework of hybrid training, we highlight the contribution of interactivity to strengthen learners’ motivation and engagement. We describe the key steps in designing adapted content, taking into account language and cultural objectives, learner profiles, and available technological resources. The emphasis is on the importance of a well-thought-out pedagogical script, integrating a diversity of activities and differentiated evaluation methods.

The article then illustrates how to articulate this interactive content with face-to-face sequences, highlighting the essential role of the teacher in facilitating discussions, regulating learning and coordinating online interactions. Finally, prospects for development are proposed, particularly in terms of action research, the development of communities of practice and the integration of new technologies (augmented reality, artificial intelligence, etc.). It appears that the hybrid approach, supported by quality interactive content, opens up new ways to enrich the mastery of the French language and culture, while responding to the challenges of the diversity of learning audiences.
