Abstract
Ceramic art is a kind of art form with national characteristics in our country. Traditional ceramic teaching has become difficult to adapt to the present state of art. In the middle of the 20th century, the education of Ceramic Art has gained a brand-new development period. During this period, China's modern ceramic art education has drawn a lot of experience in ceramic art education abroad, it has promoted the development of China's ceramic art and adapted it to the requirements of today's Times. Nowadays, with the popularization of multimedia technology, the teaching of Ceramic Art has got a certain degree of progress, so that it can better combine the needs of the times and society in the Information Age, and develop more perfect teaching system and teaching idea. In this paper, the status of multimedia technology and the present situation of ceramic art teaching and the three main drawbacks are introduced, and how to solve these problems through multimedia technology. The combination of multimedia technology and pottery teaching is the inevitable development of modern teaching, and it is also a kind of main channel for the teaching of Ceramic Art in the field of contemporary education.
