Abstract

College English is a very important required elementary undergraduate course in Chinese general undergraduate curriculum. This course has a great influence on students not only the academic achievement evaluation and the award of scholarship but also the employment and the performance after graduation. Therefore, the curriculum provision of college English is either the key to improve students’ English learning effects or the emphasis of college English teaching reform. This paper analyzes the set-method, pros and cons, teaching efficiency and influence on teachers and students of the hierarchical English curriculum pattern Based on the Qiqihar region. In the end, it gives the conclusion and wish it will be helpful.
