Abstract

Based on the extended Mincer Wage Equation, the thesis uses OLS method to conduct concrete regression analysis of the factors influencing wages. It also uses the data from the follow-up survey report carried out by China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) in 2014. The estimated results suggest that compared with other academic levels, junior college education or above has a much greater effect on salary income. In addition, gender discrimination still extremely exists in various regions. Household registration discrimination is mainly concentrated in eastern region. The member of Communist Party of China does not have a significant impact on salary income.
