Proceedings of the 2017 2nd International Conference on Automatic Control and Information Engineering (ICACIE 2017)
The volume is a collection of the selected articles presented at the 2017 2nd International Conference on Automatic Control and Information Engineering (ICACIE 2017), which was successfully held at Augustus 26-28, 2017 in Hong Kong, China. This conference is organized by The University of Hong Kong (HKU). It provided a platform for researchers, practitioners and graduate students to present research results and exchange experience in the field of “automatic control and information engineering”, as well as to foster research collaboration between the academia and the industry.
The conference was held in the form of review lectures of the leading scientists with free discussion and personal oral and poster presentations of the participants. On the basis of the peer-review process, which is based on originality, significance, and clarity for the purpose of the conference, and the reports presented at the conference, 44 selected papers from 120 totals were included in this volume. These papers present new research in the fields of “automatic control and information engineering”. We sincerely hope that the reports presented in this volume will contribute to the advancement of knowledge not only in these fields, but also others.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the members of Technical Program Commit¬tee and organizers for their enthusiasm and expertise. Our thanks also go to many volun¬teers and staffs for the long hours and hard work they have generously given to ICACIE 2017.
