- Abstract
This paper compared the art thoughts of two aesthetics masters--Rudolf · Arnheim and Zhu Guangqian, analyzed the connotation of “image” and the change of “image” in Chinese and Western, and drew the conclusion that there were both similarities and differences in grasping and understanding the connotation of image due to the difference of cultural background of each country.
