Abstract

Wang Xilin is considered one of the most famous Chinese composer in the international music scene. He has won the highest Symphonies Composing Award of Chinese government twice and visited the United States, Britain, Italy and other countries. His works The No.3 Symphony, Quartet, and other works were appraised highly by Poland famous composer Krzysztof Penderecki and Russian famous composer Sofia Gubaidulina. This paper sorts out his music career from life profile, the general situation of creation, evaluation of his works and character.
