In recent years, the wind power industry in China developed rapidly, by the people's attention. The development of wind power has brought us considerable economic benefits and significant social benefits, but also to the stability of power system has brought a significant impact. Low voltage ride through capability of wind turbine is one of the important factors that affect the safety of grid. China's wind farms are widely distributed. Low voltage ride through test method of conventional wind turbine has a long time and a slow progress. In this paper, a new method is proposed to realize the low voltage ride through performance test of wind turbine, and the validity and accuracy of the testing method are verified by the simulation results.
