Proceedings of the 2018 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence: Technologies and Applications (ICAITA 2018)
With the support of individuals and organizations, the 2018 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence: Technologies and Applications (ICAITA 2018) is going to be held from March 25 to 26, 2018 in Chengdu, China. ICAITA 2018 is co-sponsored by Science and Engineering Research Center, Hong Kong. ICAITA 2018 will continue to focus on the research in the related fields and create communication opportunities for its participants to share personal opinions.
The first ICAITA was successfully held on January 24 and 25, 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand. The Conference Proceeding has been published in Advances in Intelligent Systems Research (ISSN: 1951-6851) and successfully indexed by CPCI-S! ICAITA 2016 is also online available in full text via the press platform. The ICAITA 2016 promoted the development of related fields. And it pointed out the research direction on Artificial Intelligence: Technologies and Applications for the researchers.
Since the birth of artificial intelligence, the theory and technology matures and application field expands unceasingly. Also we can imagine, the future of artificial intelligence technology, will be a "container" of human wisdom. Artificial intelligence has gained more and more attention in the computer field. It is applied in robot, control system and simulation system etc. On the basis of the success of the ICAITA 2016, the ICAITA 2018 plans to set sail again. It will bring the participants a better platform to express their viewpoint freely. Also, the ICAITA 2018 is dedicated to present a perfect academic feast.
Before the submission deadline, we had called for papers from all over the world. Ultimately, we had received 162 papers. Also, we had adopted the way of peer review to review all the papers. The experts in related fields had been responsible for the reviewing procedure. During reviewing, each paper had been reviewed by 2 or 3 reviewers at least. The content of the reviewing includes the Originality, Technical Soundness, Quality of Format, Match to Conference Topic and so on. After the strict reviewing, we had accepted 51 papers.
The acceptance rate of the ICAITA 2018 is about 31.5%. All the accepted papers are included in this book. According to the topics of the papers, the book is divided into 3 chapters as following:
Chapter 1: Pattern Recognition and Neural Network
Chapter 2: Intelligent Control, Mechatronics and Robotics
Chapter 3: Data Mining and Intelligent Systems Design
In the end, we want to express our gratitude to all the persons and organizers who work for the ICAITA 2018. We thanks to the organizer for opening this conference, to Atlantis Press for publishing the papers, to the reviewers for reviewing the papers, to the authors for submitting papers to us.
