Abstract

The decorative art movement was a great event in the history of modern design in the world. Decorative art also played its important role in contemporary design. Nowadays, the field of design and the major of decorative art design in design education turned to darkness. How to develop the decorative art design in the future and the reasons behind such phenomenon are the key points of the study in this paper.
