Abstract

Photographer Gemmy Woud-Binnendijk combines classical oil painting language with her children's photography to convey her research and application of the composition and color of European classical oil paintings. Through the use of classical oil painting language, her series of children's photography "Nowadays child in the light of the past" presents the characteristics of the most exquisite European classical oil paintings — smooth composition, golden ratio, rational deep and subtle color as well as concise shape and background space.
