Abstract

this paper begins with the discussion about the definition of language and culture, investigates the current situation of college culture teaching, analyzes the problems that exist from three aspects and the put forward the necessity to cultivate students’ intercultural communicative competence and propose some suggestions and strategies to improve culture teaching in college English.
