Abstract

In recent years, as the core area of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, Fujian has made great achievements in promoting infrastructure connectivity, unimpeded trade and people-to-people bond. In the new era, Fujian should focus on the construction of pivot cities, the construction of “Silk Road Maritime” platform and Yuanhong International Food Industrial Park, and deeply integrate into “the Belt and Road Initiative” to promote the high-quality development of “Maritime Silk Road” Core Area from the aspects of infrastructure connectivity, capacity cooperation, financial security, people-to-people exchanges and mechanism innovation, etc.
