Abstract

As the family miniaturization trend become increasingly obvious in our country, empty nest family start to appear in rural areas showing a rising trend. Home-based aged-care mode is thought to be in line with the objective requirement of aging of population through positive investigation and SWOT analysis, which also can integrate the sources of family and society, is an inexorable trend of aged-care development in china and an economic suitable pension mode for empty nest elders in rural areas. At last, it probes into the practice approaches of home-based aged-care for empty nest elders in rural areas from the aspects of family, community and government.
