Abstract

The article presents the main results of the activities of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation for 2012-2017 aimed at implementing the UN Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities. The author analyzes the main activities performed by the cultural institutions in order to increase the level of accessibility for persons with disabilities, to develop their creative abilities, as well as to engage the disabled persons in the cultural life.
